summary The position supports the sales organization to deliver on engineering side of the project

 

responsibilities

  • Comply with all Safety & Health requirements in Company Premises as well as Customer sites

  • Support Sales Team field to identify and develop new business opportunities and capabilities

  • Develop Project Scope and Cost estimation of projects and provide timely response to Sales

  • Generate Proposal Documents (incl. Scope of Works, Method statements, Risk Assessments, Technical Drawings, and Design Specifications etc.)

  • Ensure the project is executed within the available Budget and Schedule without compromising on Quality

  • Work closely with Sales to follow-up and proactively identify any issues during project execution

  • Manage Contractors, Vendors and other Business Associates effectively to meet Business Goals

  • Ensure profitability of Projects using calculation tools and worksheet

  • Ensure accuracy of scope/estimate in comparison to actual execution

  • Conduct Technical Training to Sales Team on Products & Technologies in co-ordination with DM

  • Carry out Site inspections/surveys in conjunction with Sales or with Customer (in consultation with Sales)

  • Conduct FAT as required in compliance with ITP procedures and specifications agreed by client

  • Co-ordinate Installation of Equipment on-site as per design specifications and site requirements

  • Carry out Testing and Commissioning on-site as per the SAT and Commissioning Plan

  • Prepare Operation & Maintenance Manual for Equipment installed as required by client

  • Train Customer site personnel / operators on equipment operations and completed Hand-over

  • Assist Sales Team on After-Sales service involving warranty claims, on-site troubleshooting, supply and replacement of spares etc

  • Assist in ISO audits and Safety Audits as and when required

  • Ensure effective communication with all parties involved (Sales/Customer/Planners/Supervisors/ Service Technicians/Contractors)

  • Communicate and update the department progress through Share-point

  • Complies with all Company Policies and Procedures, copies of these can be obtained on the Intranet

requirements

  • Technical engineering degree required (Preferably - Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering)

  • 5 years of relevant work experience in an appropriate sales support or service function

  • Must have drafting skills

  • Must have some installation background or knowledge

  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and other Software tools

  • Some local travel is required
