-Overall responsibility for sales and sales budget Defines sales target and sales strategy (commercial conditions, promotional policy, distribution strategy, etc.) and executes through own team Meets or exceeds agreed net sales and profitability targets and provides additional support and resource to focus on underperforming locations to drive performance and increase focus on results Prepares and reviews sales and other revenue generating business plans, identifies gaps, ensures proactive measures and meets set targets Responsibility for sales network strategy and its implementation Develops territorial store expansion plan and analyses potential business areas Plans closings, relocations or renewals of stores Coaches Area Retail Managers to improve consulting of potential franchisees and landlords Plans activities to drive turnover of new opened stores Creates a leading trading and service culture by motivating and inspiring the Retail teams to exceed commercial goals and KPI’s, and build Brand equity at every available opportunity by focusing on the 5 P’s: People, Product, Premises, Processes and Profit. Influences and convinces others that are sceptical or unwilling to accept new practices, concepts or approaches, whilst maintaining a professional standard of communication to drive operating results. Responsibility for compliance of global standards for all retail marketing, visual merchandising and other store related activities by monitoring/evaluating established processes. Leads and coaches the team in both Retail and Wholesale at all times to deliver a world class retail business Consistently strives to innovate and create efficiencies in all operational processes and procedures within the Retail departments to ensure best practice. Develops and executes local Retail relevant and specific processes in close cooperation with the HQ Continuously maximises profitability from the store portfolio, in conjunction with key stakeholders. Manages and controls operational expenses (OPEX) in line with the Market retail budget. Creates and drives a high performance culture across the business by setting clear expectations and targets, analysing stores’ performance, holding District Managers and Store Managers accountable and giving appropriate and prompt feedback. Identifies specific regional needs and defines activity plans to achieve sales targets
