<Head of Strategy & Business Development > **Position which includes a degree of new business development, supporting the Regional Senior Vice President, whom leads our Asia Pacific businesses, a direct line management, in terms of managing our growing Japanese business unit. **Firstly leading the overall development and integration of an Asia Pacific Strategic plan. And secondly, the proactive identification and assessment of broader potential alliances and/or M&A opportunities within the Asia Pacific Region.
|responsibilities||• Strategy development o Lead the development of an APAC strategy for Asia Pac department o Work with the countries to trickle down the APAC strategy to a country level o Communicate APAC strategy and acquire a buy-in o Work with the Corp Strategy and BU Strategy to drive/execute global & regional initiatives o Organize quarterly strategy & business review meetings and follow through key action items from the meetings o Collect and disseminate the market intelligence to the countries and functions in the region • Business development: alliances and M&A’s o Under the APAC strategy, identify potential targets for alliance or M&A o Work with the Corp Dev team to execute a deal o Build/maintain relationship with the investment community for deal sourcing and execution, e.g., consultancies • Cross border trade business for Japan o Own the P&L of the cross border trade business for Japan o Develop and execute the strategy with the Japan team|
