responsibilities | 1. Strategy and policy : Develop policies and objectives for the assigned unit and contribute to the development of the strategy on a level higher 2. Annual plan/budget : Ensure development, manage and ensure realization annual plan/budget for the assigned unit, acquire approval, ensure and manage execution and deliver results 3. Organization development : Evaluate organizational design, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements 4. People management and development : Manage, lead, coach, appraise and develop employees, ensure staffing and stimulate talent(management) 5. Knowledge and information management : Keep up with internal and external developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge and information 6. Management information : Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and adhoc reports and/or analyses 7. Communication management : Build and maintain a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners and represent the organization 8. Projects : Define, plan, manage and co-ordinate assigned (portfolio of) projects and ensure execution and delivery 9. Legislation management : Ensure the site adheres to all local legislation and meets company standards. 10. Continuous Improvement : Lead the systematic delivery within company ALPS QM, HSE improvement programs including SAQ, behavior based safety and process safety management programs. 11. requirements | - Engineering (Chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial etc.) background in university - Over 10 years working experience and more than 3years practical working experience in paint or chemical manufacturing industry and EHS - Project management experience preferred |
