|position||Field Health & Safety Specialist|
|responsibilities|| Support line management in continuously improving EH&S performance in line with business goals through annual EHS Improvement Plan (EHSIP). Assist all facilities to develop their respective EHS Action Plans and monitor its progress periodically
Assist in the implementation of EH&S procedures, standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.
Monitor and audit implementation and compliance to the EH&S Management System. Conduct EH&S inspections at the site and provide sound recommendations to reinforce safe behaviors and conditions
Development of EH&S awareness and developing active participation by line management and staff in reaching EH&S KPI (Key Performance Index) and objectives.
Provide support and advice to line management, including Sales personnel as required.
To prepare, update EH&S training materials and conduct EH&S training as required
Assist to prepare facilities for internal and external EH&S assessments, and update customer’s EH&S questionnaire
Conduct EH&S qualification process at supplier’s facilities
Support in merger / acquisition of EH&S activities
Participate in EH&S committees and regulatory dialogue session
Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of the industrial hygiene program, for example, noise monitoring, personnel exposure monitoring, ergonomics, respiratory protection program, etc.
Facilitate incident investigation with Apollo Root Cause Analysis (ARCA) or root cause analysis method to assess the root causes and establish corrective actions
To carry out specific jobs assigned by the EH&S Country Manager
|requirements||5 to 10 years in manufacturing plant (Gas, chemical, energy biz category).
Should have strong field experience of each part of EHS
Should have strong local EHS related regulation knowledge and interpretation skill
Should have strong interpersonal communication skills with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders
Should have strong strategic planning and execution skill
Plus for PSM, Level 1 category of water and air management experiences
About 50% internal travel is required and overseas travel as needed.
