responsibilities 1. Interface with the Project Procurement Manager to ensure appropriate logistics, Inspection and Expediting plans are in place and aligned with the project execution strategy, schedule and budget 2. Manage the delivery of the Source Inspection requirements in accordance with company and/or client specifications, ensuring all inspection request from suppliers are fulfilled in the agreed timeframe, with focus on Korea local sourced equipment 3. Review the received inspection reports with the Design Engineers and ensure any open corrective actions are completed prior to issuing the Inspection Release Note 4. Managing the supplier performance during project execution through proactive and targeted expediting of purchase order to ensure all deliverables (documentation and goods) are delivered as per schedule 5. Ensure Shipping release instructions are provided in a timely manner and all necessary packing list information received 6. Execute the post order work process in accordance with approved work processes 7. Monitor, communicate, and respond to changing supplier performance, market conditions and business drivers on a global basis to maximize leverage and minimize risk.
requirements - 8+ years of experience in an Engineering, Commercial or project environment, preferably with a minimum 5 years in Procurement/Transportation/Source Inspection and Expediting with Engineering and Construction (EPC), Industrial Gases or Petrochemicals Industries - Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management - Familiar with operating within SAP and SmartPlant Materials (a plus)
